A Personal Announcement: Changes in October

I would like to share an important update regarding my practice.

Practice only open until the end of September 2026

My practice will close at the end of September 2026, as I will begin studying human medicine in Frankfurt in October.

Until then, I will continue working full-time with my clients, and there is still space for therapeutic work in the coming months.

This decision has not been easy. My work with clients has always been deeply meaningful to me, and I am grateful for the trust and the therapeutic journeys we have shared over the past years.

Why I am taking this step

Somewhat unexpectedly, I recently received an offer for a place in medical school. After careful consideration, I decided to accept this opportunity.

My long-term goal is to become a specialist in psychiatry and psychotherapy. My work as a licensed practitioner for psychotherapy has been incredibly valuable and formative. At the same time, this role comes with certain professional and legal limitations.

Through medical training, I hope to expand my knowledge and competencies in order to support people in a more comprehensive clinical and therapeutic way.

Another important motivation is the possibility of eventually offering therapy covered by public health insurance, making access to care less dependent on financial privilege.

Areas of special interest

In my future work, I am particularly interested in topics related to neurodiversity and queerness. Many neurodivergent and queer individuals still encounter gaps in understanding and support within healthcare systems.

In the long term, I would like to contribute to creating professional and affirming spaces where people can receive competent support.

A note of gratitude

Medical school will require my full attention. For this reason – and out of responsibility toward my clients – I have decided to close my practice when my studies begin.

I will continue working with clients until the end of September 2026.
